A similar construction holds for the 4-torus on condition that phi has exactly two expanding eigenvalues, and their product is positive. The construction also holds for the n-torus, if we replace phi with a sufficiently high power. המחלקה למתמטיקה mathoffice@math.biu.ac.il Asia/Jerusalem public
