The life-cycle of random walkers on random regular graph
Random walks (RWs) on networks have been extensively studied due to their relevance in various fields including Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science. RWs serve as a versatile tool for understanding the underlying network as well as dynamical processes that take place on them. Focusing on Random Regular Graphs (RRGs), I will present various analytical results describing important events in the life-cycle of RWs on RRGs, namely the distributions of the first hitting time, the first return time, the first passage time and the cover time.
