We shall present results from Part III of our series of papers with Tanmay Inamdar, entitled Was Ulam right?. This part centers around indecomposable ideals as already announced in a talk from a year ago (video). As an application, we shall improve Conclusion 4.8(2) of [Sh:365], increasing the number of colors to be as large as possible (theta=lambda in Shelah's notation). Abstract
