Sum-product phenomenon for sets of positive density
We will present an ergodic theoretic approach jointly developed with Bjorklund to a general problem of finding 'twisted infinite patterns’ in difference sets of sets of positive density in the integer lattice. Those patterns correspond to an infinite structure inside ’sum-products’ formed by a set of positive density. The talk based on joint works with Bjorklund, Bulinski and Skinner.
